From the first tutorial session for ARCH 1101, I had chosen the first client Khyzyl Saleem and the three words jet, vanish, and hybrid. Inspired by the forms of Saleem's futuristic car designs, and the US SE-72 scramjet, I've created a structure that aims to provide a unique feeling of dormancy and unknown power.

Initially, the structure was envisioned to be completely different from the final product Skt 1. From the sketchpad, the initial plan for the building was to have layers of sharply angled beams, which would act as a funnel for rain and a shell for the entirety of the structure. This is clear in the image below detailing the back view of the structure as an assembly of supports creating an upwards 'V' shape.
Furthermore, the idea of Skt 1 was a draft that was abandoned during the tutorial, as I though the building could not have a viable way of feeling like a space to live in. Nevertheless, I decided to revisit the idea and do my best to produce an image of something that I would have attempted.

Materials:
Stone, coloured glass, concrete.
With some revisions, the original concept was reimplemented into a divided space between the bottom(old model) and the upper theatre for the other client. Although the upper space wasn't a furnished, the lower interior is widely ornamented with glass to create a large feeling of exposure and area.
